There’s something special happening in Thame this summer… and it’s back for 2026, stronger than ever.
The Thame Sportive, organised by Thame Cycles’ own Jeremy Crook, returns in June 14th 2026 with one clear mission: to bring people together through cycling, while supporting the local community and charities that make our area so special.

The Thame Sportive, organised by Thame Cycles’ own Jeremy Crook, returns in June 14th 2026 with one clear mission: to bring people together through cycling, while supporting the local community and charities that make our area so special.
A Ride for Everyone
Whether you’re clipping in for your first sportive or chasing a personal best, the Thame Sportive has been designed for all abilities.
Riders can expect a range of routes to suit every level:

A demanding advanced distance for those wanting to really test themselves
This inclusive approach is at the heart of the event—cycling should be for everyone, and this is your invitation to be part of it.
As highlighted by organisers, the sportive is a community cycling event designed to cater for riders of all abilities
Powered by Passion – Led by Jeremy Crook
At the centre of it all is Jeremy Crook, Director of Thame Cycles, whose passion for cycling and the local area has driven the event from idea to reality.
The sportive originally grew from collaboration between Thame Cycles, Thame Cycling Club and Thame Town Council, with Jeremy helping bring the vision to life and rallying support across the community
