Next Generation Ultralight Road Bike

The Bianchi Specialissima is a true ultralight road bike, but its design goes beyond simply excelling on climbs. Bianchi also prioritised performance on the roads riders encounter before and after the ascents. The latest Specialissima is built to shine on long flat valley stretches, adrenaline-fueled descents, and, of course, steep climbs, where its ultra-light and responsive nature truly stands out. To achieve this versatility, the frame and components have been re-engineered for aerodynamic optimisation.

Bianchi shifted weight from the rear to the front, incorporating super-fine seat stays and thinner chain stays, while enhancing the head tube with a subtle “beak” design to channel airflow around the fork crown for a more aerodynamic front end. Even individual components, such as the derailleur hanger and seat clamp, have been meticulously shaped to minimize weight and optimise airflow

The Pro models feature the same aerodynamic cockpit as the Specialissima RC, paired with a high-modulus carbon fibre frameset that incorporates Bianchi’s proprietary Countervail vibration-cancelling technology. This enhances comfort and control across a wide range of surfaces.
