The Bianchi Oltre Race replaced the best-selling Aria in Bianchi’s aero road bike line-up, offering a more streamlined front end with fully integrated cable routing. It is engineered to deliver top-tier aerodynamic performance while preserving the ride quality, handling, and comfort you would expect from a versatile, high-speed road bike from the world’s first premium bike brand.
Designed for all-day, all-around riding, the Oltre Race features practical, reliable components that are easy to maintain. It delivers an exceptionally smooth ride, striking an ideal balance between agility and responsiveness.
Bianchi’s philosophy emphasises that achieving “full” aerodynamic performance requires synergy between bike and rider. Drawing on insights from wind-tunnel testing and feedback from pro riders, the Oltre Race’s design optimises aerodynamics without sacrificing comfort or practicality.
For the bike, reducing wind resistance involves carefully shaping the frame’s tubes and refining their structural integration to minimise drag. For the rider, achieving optimal aerodynamics depends on a comfortable frame geometry that supports a sustainable aero riding position. As Bianchi puts it: “Aero frame plus aero rider position equals Full Aero.”
The Oltre Race uses Bianchi’s proven race geometry, prioritising speed and balance without forcing riders into an overly aggressive or stretched-out position. The result is a ride that’s not only highly responsive and comfortable but also exceptionally well-balanced. Equipped with clip-on tribars, it transforms into a top-tier triathlon machine, retaining the qualities of a standard fast road bike while maximizing aerodynamic efficiency.
